Pros We had a truly lovely stay at Viewbank Villa. the bed in our Cabana was incredibly comfy - we wish we had it at home! the entire place is beautifully decorated and fitted to a high standard. the location was perfect for visiting the Glen Ord distillery and exploring Loch Ness. We also appreciated the personal touch of the owner's personality throughout the property. the small takeaway menu was a great option after a long day, and John even brought it out to us. the room looked just like the accurate photos. For the price we paid, we got excellent value. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient, just a short distance from Beauly, and we loved the peaceful surroundings. The staff at Viewbank were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the chef was happy to cater to our preferences. We loved taking a dip in the pool, and the towels provided were a nice touch. We never had to wait for the shared bathroom as there were two available. Soap and shampoo were readily available. The spacious house had ample storage space and all the furniture, bedding, and towels were of great quality. The conservatory was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the panoramic views. The teenagers in our group were thrilled with the fast and reliable Wi-Fi and the multiple TVs provided. The added convenience of a dishwasher ensured our dishes were always clean. The well-maintained outdoor space was ideal for BBQs, and the option of using a communal chest freezer was a bonus for longer stays. The Cabanas were exceptionally comfortable and tastefully furnished. The bed was so cozy, we wished we could take it home with us! The entire place was beautifully decorated and designed. It was also conveniently located near Glen Ord distillery and Loch Ness. The little takeaway menu was a great value for money, and John kindly brought it to our room. As old people, we loved the self-contained cabins and the convenient location near Beauly. the beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was superbly equipped. the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to a wide range of attractions in the Scottish Highlands. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas, including Loch Ness, Falls of Shin, and Ullapool. Another highlight was the comfortable bed in our room, which provided a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. the breakfast offered at the hotel was fantastic, with a variety of options to choose from.

Our experience at the hotel was marred by a few issues. the wifi connection was quite poor and unreliable, which was frustrating, especially when trying to stay connected with family and friends during the Christmas season.

Took advantage of the water adventures and enjoyed birdwatching. Explored the large garden grounds with a stream. Free parking was a great perk. Also, loved the indoor pool and the complimentary Wi-Fi.

We recently stayed at a lovely villa with warm water pool and fantastic facilities. the pool wasn't super hot but it was still the best thing about Viewbank. We also enjoyed playing pool and Foosball. the villa was clean and welcoming, with 24/7 access to the swimming pool. the rooms were comfortable, although one was bigger than the other. Having two bathrooms was a plus, especially when one was occupied. the breakfast was great, the staff were pleasant and helpful, and the grounds were well-maintained.

viewbank villa was even better than our previous stay in beauly. the clean rooms, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast exceeded our expectations. we loved the pool and the beautiful countryside setting. the owners' daughter was also very kind and accommodating.

During my recent stay at Viewbank, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings and convenient location for exploring the Scottish Highlands. From Inverness to Loch Ness and beyond, there were endless opportunities for adventure and discovery. The house itself was spacious and homely, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The conservatory offered stunning views, and the provision of TVs and broadband kept everyone entertained. Although we encountered a few minor hiccups, such as a temperamental dishwasher and a lack of cleaning in communal areas, these were quickly resolved by the attentive and responsive host. I had a wonderful time at Viewbank and would highly recommend it for families or large groups looking for a cozy and convenient stay in the Scottish Highlands.
